The picture, taken in the Ðông Hồ workshop in Vietnam, shows a hen feeding her chicks. The image embodies the farmer's aspirations of fertility and the joys of large family life.The title of the picture, Gà đàn (Chicken), is also a wish for good luck, happiness and wealth. Like the other pictures, it was made for the Tết (Lunar New Year) celebration.
