Vaiśravaṇa accompanied by the emanation of the eight horsemen (Tibetan: rta bdag brgyad)

Vaiśravaṇa on a snow lion, with his customary attributes, accompanied by his eight emanations depicted as figures surrounded with flames, sitting on horses whose colours match the riders’ body colours. Above Vaiśravaṇa’s head, there is the figure of the Dharma Protector Vajrapāṇi. The composition also shows natural phenomena, such as rocks, the sun, and the moon.
