Vaiśravaṇa on a snow lion, with his customary attributes, accompanied by his eight emanations depicted as figures surrounded with flames, sitting on horses whose colours match the riders’ body colours. Above Vaiśravaṇa’s head, there is the figure of the Dharma Protector Vajrapāṇi. The composition also shows natural phenomena, such as rocks, the sun, and the moon. The thangka painted on silk with mineral paints and framed with a silk border. The edges of the image and the border are decorated with a thin silk cord
