Rajput miniature painting. Visnu and Lakshmi sit side by side on a lotus floating in the Milk Sea. Visnu appears in his four-armed aspect, the upper holding a shell, the lower holding a chakra, the upper left holding a mace, and the lower holding a lotus. His dress is yellow, skin is blue, wears a crown on his head. His upper body is covered with rich jewelry. Lakshmi in red and blue and white patterned silk sari sits on his left, holding her hand in Namaskara mudra. Behind them the blue sky creates the illusion of hovering. The image is bordered by white speckled navy blue and narrow white, followed by a wide red band.
