It is a wooden sculpture of a Javanese hero, carved in the Wayang style, but in this case painted in a very exaggerated way. The bright colour of the face shows a positive character, while the bulging eyes suggest violence, which is one of the iconographic characteristics of the Pan-Dawa hero Bima, for example. On his lower body, he wears a distinguished hip wrap (dodot) with a pattern that is difficult to recognise. Presumably made as a souvenir for tourists.
