Yama and Yami

Yama Dharmapála, the Lord of Death is usually portrayed with a buffalo head and a Dharma wheel on his chest. He stands stepping out position on a bull lying on a female figure. This figure feathers the typical attributes of the warthful deities. His eyes are blooddshot, teeth are snarling. A five-folded skull diadem adorns his forehead which has a third eye. His red hair is in flame.Holding a stick endig in a skull in his right hand raised to the side and his raised up left hand forms a threatening gesture. A bekt with a merging snakes garlang of fresh humen heads, and other ornaments decorate his naked body. His sister, Yami turns toward Yama. She raises a skull cup in her left hand, and her right hand also is in a threatening gesture. The special faeture of this statue is the multicolour painting, which worned out many spot. The parts ot the sulture are atteched to each other by dry tapping.
