AUTUMN FESTIVAL OF MUSEUMS | Momijigari garden walk with botanical focus
The Japanese word "momiji" refers to the contemplation of autumn leaves and admiration of the wonders of this colourful season. Nature offers images and atmospheres of astonishing beauty in every season - which is why it is worth returning regularly to the beautisul oriental garden of Hopp Museum. As well as the plants, the walk also offers a glimpse of the exquisite oriental world created once by Ferenc Hopp. Although the layout and appearance of the garden has changed over the past century and a half, the villa and garden still preserve the original intention and memory of the founder.
The walk is guided by Japanese garden expert Zita Gódorné Hazenauer.
The programme is open to visitors with a ticket valid on the day of the programme for the Hopp Museum exhibition.
